Blog 32 | Architect & the Tenant

People crave reason. We have an undying need to make sense out of the things that happen to us and we’ll sooner contrive answers to fill the void than embrace the unknown. We live by our beliefs, they define us, but from our first days of consciousness we’ve been conditioned to step into systems built before us rather than render our own, and accept connections and perspectives mapped out for us rather than discover new ones for ourselves.

If we can learn to be at once the architect and the tenant of our own beliefs we can empower ourselves to be at helm of our own experience, rather than at the mercy of a perspective foisted upon us before we had the capacity to choose for ourselves.
