There is a God dormant in each of us, and the purpose of life is to realize this God. It’s only nourishment is the time given to it, and we all have a finite, and ever more finite source of that time. When we allocate that time elsewhere, we starve the God within, and eventually, it shrivels—never dying completely—becoming a decrepit husk, and if we never nourish it it stays the same shrunken wretch, watching with ash in it’s breath, it’s nourishment flow every way but towards it.
